The proclamation of the Resurrection resounds “Rejoice, O heavenly powers, sing, choirs of angels”. In lofty cathedrals and humble chapels throughout the world, this joyful proclamation rings out on Easter Sunday. Jesus of Nazareth has been raised from the dead. The grave could not hold him, and sin could not conquer him. Now risen in victory! Jesus invites all of us to share in his triumph. Christ’s death and resurrection is an extraordinary event. Easter is not a finished event of the past. It is a continual happening, taking place at every moment and in every one, at every age, in every space.

Born at Champakulam, Mar Kurialachery was ordained to priesthood in Rome, on May 27 1899 and had his episcopal..
The congregation of the sisters of the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS) has its origin in the personal experience of the Eucharistic presence of Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry (1873- 1925), an ardent devotee of the Holy Eucharist. The inner call received by him was that the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament must be known, loved and adored by all, always and everywhere. He pursued this inspiration with courage, stability and absolute trust and founded the Adoration Congregation on 8th December 1908. He shared this Charism with Mother Mary Francesca De Chantal, the co-foundress and the first member of the congregation.
Our charism is devotion (Bhakthi) to the Holy Eucharist, which consists in a life of total surrender to the Lord. The core of this devotion is a deep personal attachment to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. We foster the spirit of Eucharistic devotion in us and in others through the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Prime importance is given to the Eucharistic apostolate. To share the Eucharistic love with the brethren and thus to draw all to the table of the Eucharistic Lord, besides the Eucharistic apostolate, SABS extends their services in the fields of Education, Healing, Social Welfare and Missionary activities according to the needs of the time and place.
Eucharistic adoration is our main apostolate and the reason for which our congregation was started.
Our apostolate in the field of education is a call to take part in the teaching mission of the Church.
Social apostolate is the continuation of the ministry of Jesus; his reaching out to the poor, the sick..
Medical service is a crying need in our world. It is praise worthy that the SABS ministry of healing…
